(1) Selection of conveyor chain components
When purchasing, you should choose a reasonable chain plate conveyor according to the actual conveying conditions, so as to choose the appropriate specifications and types of conveyor chain components (chain plates, connecting links, connecting chains). The products of manufacturers with good reputation and meeting the relevant quality standards shall eliminate the use of unqualified conveyor chains and strengthen the quality control of the materials of the connecting chain and the link ring, considering not only their strength but also their elongation; Components to improve the corrosion fatigue strength of the chain plate; avoid surface defects where the link ring arc meets the inside of the straight edge as much as possible to reduce the stress concentration there and slow down the occurrence of cracks.
(2) Assembly of the conveyor chain
The transmission chain must be assembled strictly according to the paired chain when it leaves the factory. The length of the chain must be provided according to the installation requirements. The chain must not be distorted. The installation position and direction of the chain plate, the connecting ring and the connecting chain should meet the installation requirements. The welding seam of the ring should be upward to reduce the wear of the welding ring and the abrasion of the groove bottom plate to extend the life of the connecting ring; the connecting ring must be properly connected according to the installation requirements, and the bolts or pins must be installed in place; Frequent jogging is strictly prohibited during installation to avoid damage to parts.
(3) Laying of the trough of the chain conveyor

(4) Pre-tensioning of the conveyor chain
The tension of the conveyor chain should be moderate to make it meet the installation requirements. Check whether the conveying chain is properly tensioned. The easiest way is to jog the drive to tension the chain and count the number of loose connection chains under the head sprocket. If there are more than two, some connection chains need to be removed. . (5) Daily maintenance of chain conveyor
